I have a photograph on my phone of some blades of grass. The overwhelming urge to immortalise significant moments in time - as someone who makes art - frequently brings me back to my camera roll for inspiration.
These sketchbook pages began with me studying that picture and painting blade after blade, until it grew into a garden of its own.
I carried this sketchbook with me for a while, adding flora from the various places I went to. Whenever I had a minute to myself and a plant in sight.
